I borrowed this DVD from a friend and put off watching it because it sounded like it would be sad. There was no doubt that I wanted to watch it because it has Johnny Depp and Kate Winslett in it.
I did cry. Have tissues ready if you watch it.
It was a very lovely movie. Mr. Depp did not overdo his accent, although perhaps someone from Britain, Scotland, Ireland or Wales will be able to critique it better.
I give it 4.5 acorns/out of 5.
