The last two episodes were full of angst and torment. Even the cold and distant Gertrude, sheds a tear (I won't say why!)
I must say I hated Steerpike, but there is something pathetic about him in his Phantom of the Opera mask.
The character called the Wild Thing is a bit of an enigma to me. I thought something more dramatic and important would come of her so her fate was a bit disappointing.
All in all I give this miniseries 4.5 acorns (5 being the highest)
