While Upcountry Maui, near where Oprah will have her "preserve", I took a picture of this plant. It had cotton like stuff coming out of the pods that were open. I asked the property owner what it was, and she replied, "It's a weed". The leaves kind of look like Oleander, but the pods are fat and round.
I thought it could be a triffid.

Hey there! I just found this blog after what you said last night. I haven't had a chance to really look at it, but from what I've browsed, you sure see a lot of movies!! :) I also saw some entries that looked pretty personal; I don't want to invade your privacy, so I think I'll just stick with Acornbuds Yarns. Unless you don't mind, in which case I would be happy to visit again and read some of those movie reviews. :)
