As the pictures and stories come rolling in I am paralyzed with the suffering. So many things seem trivial in the face of such tragedy. I ask myself what can I do. Part of me always struggles with not volunteering for the front line. I decided for now, I'm not ready to go to the front line. But, I can make a donation to the American Red Cross
I don't need a new digital camera, DVD player or laptop. There are babies and people out there in need of the basics. So be it.
